Registered Nurse (RN)

Location

Olathe, Kansas

Contract Details

• Contract Length: 14 weeks, running through the holiday season
• Scheduled Shifts: 12-hour night shifts, 1900-0730, three shifts per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
• Holiday Requirement: Travelers are expected to work one holiday from each of the designated holiday groups
• Floating Requirement: Must be willing to float to all acute care units

Orientation Schedule

• Monday and Tuesday: Orientation at the campus
• Wednesday: Olathe orientation and Director of Nursing training
• Thursday: Continuing Director of Nursing training
• Friday: Virtual Epic training session

Experience Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of 18 months of experience in a hospital setting with a focus on Orthopedic and Spine care. New graduates are not accepted for this position.

Licensure and Certification

• Currently licensed as an RN in Kansas or hold a Compact RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Facility Requirements

• This is a nicotine-free facility
• Electronic Medical Records system in use: EPIC
• Shift cancellation policy: One shift may be canceled per two-week pay period without cost to the organization; a minimum of two-hour notice is required

Additional Information

Completion of a criminal background check, drug screening, and lab work is required within 72 hours after acceptance of the position.

Payroll Information

Payroll is processed on a biweekly basis.
