Atlantic Tire Distributors is currently seeking a full-time Inventory Counter to join our team in Edenton, NC! We are seeking a self-motivated Inventory Counter to join our team. The inventory specialist is responsible for maintaining records of inventory within the warehouse. Able to research and troubleshoot both physically and systematically all inventory goods.

Schedule: 9pm-6am (Sunday-Thursday)

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Research the history of physical and systemic goods within the warehouse.
• Operate motorized material handling equipment (Order Picker, Squeeze Truck) to safely move product.
• Perform cycle counts.
• Assist other personnel as needed to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Locate missing tires and put away return product.
• Handle any damaged product and remove from warehouse.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of product flow and inventory within a distribution environment
• Experience with current software, methods, tools and equipment (including technology) used in distribution operations.
• Ability to carry out oral and written instructions and communicate clearly
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of inventory experience, 1 year working directly in a distribution or warehouse environment
• Education: Minimum High School diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work Sunday through Thursday 9pm-6am and occasionally on Saturdays.
