Adjunct Lecturer

Position Summary FTE will be determined by the number of courses/placements assigned. The department is establishing a pool of applicants to fill potential part‑time temporary teaching positions. The Cortland County area offers easy access to arts, entertainment, outdoor recreation, and more. Major Responsibilities Teach Activity/Theory courses. Supervise Student Teachers. A classroom‑based 3‑credit hour course pays $4000 per class. A 1‑credit hour activity course pays $1333 per class. Student Teaching Supervision pays $400 per placement (1 placement = 1 student for one 8‑week quarter). Required Qualifications Appropriate level of experience and/or Master’s degree. Student Teacher Supervisors must have experience teaching physical education. Preferred Qualifications Terminal degree preferred.
