Key Qualifications & Experience

• At least 1 year of experience as a paraprofessional in a school or special education setting
• Reside within a 35-minute commute of the assigned locations
• Available for a school day schedule: start as early as 7:00 AM (high school) and end as late as 3:30 PM (elementary/middle school)
• Hold (or be eligible to obtain within 60 days) one of these PA requirements:
  • Two years post-secondary education (48 credits) or higher degree
  • Passing a PDE-accepted paraprofessional assessment
  • Completion of Child Development Associate (CDA) or Special Education Paraeducator Credential
• Willingness to support students with complex needs, including behavior management, personal care, and safety supervision

Duties

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students with disabilities
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff in a variety of settings
• Assist with classroom routines, learning activities, and documentation
• Maintain a patient, proactive, and compassionate presence throughout the school day
