Yard Driver
We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Yard Driver to join our team in Cinnaminson, NJ. Candidates MUST HAVE AT Least 1 year of verifiable experience in the last 3 years.
Responsibilities:
- Drive a gas- or diesel-powered tractor trailer combination to move trailers and containers from door to door.
- Move trailers from door to door by using a company software program
- Drives trailers and containers from door to door in a yard setting, not over the road driving.
- Opening and closing trailer doors when making moves.
- Updating moves made throughout the shift by using a company software program.
- Work with other drivers to complete moves in the most efficient manner possible. Conducts daily inspections to ensure trucks safety
- Drivers are tested in and will be using a yard Truck (OTTOWA)
- Drivers will do 30 plus or minus moves per day within the yard
- Overtime is mandatory during peak season (OCT-JAN)
Requirements:
- Valid Class A driver's license
- DOT MEDICAL Required
- Clean driving record
- No speeding 15 over
- No DUI or criminal history
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A experience
- Must complete full application process
- Must pass Yard test
