Associate Attorney

Role Description The Associate Attorney will handle a variety of legal matters, with a focus on real estate and/or commercial litigation related practice areas. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, providing clear legal advice, and assisting in the development of case strategy. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Canton, MS, requiring regular presence in the office and local courts. Qualifications Ability to provide practical Legal Advice, including analyzing complex issues and counseling clients on risks and options. Proficient in legal Research, including use of online legal research tools and preparation of memoranda and case summaries. Effective Negotiation skills, with experience or aptitude in settlement discussions, mediation, and client advocacy. Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in Mississippi, or eligibility for prompt admission. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including drafting clear legal documents and presenting arguments persuasively. High level of professionalism, integrity, and client service orientation, with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines. Prior experience in litigation or real estate law is preferred, but motivated early-career attorneys with relevant internships or clerkships are encouraged to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr
