Marine Technician

Marine (Boat) Technician Tulsa, Ok Put Your Technical Skills to Work on the Water Ron Hoover RV & Marine Centers is looking for a skilled Marine/Boat Technician who knows their way around boats, engines, electrical systems, and diagnostics, or has the mechanical ability and drive to learn. From routine maintenance to complex troubleshooting and repair, our Technicians help make sure our customers can spend less time dealing with problems and more time on the water. What You'll Do Diagnose, service, maintain, and repair boats, motors, and marine systems Perform routine maintenance and scheduled services Diagnose mechanical, electrical, fuel, steering, and related system concerns Repair and service outboard engines and related components Use diagnostic equipment and manufacturer resources to troubleshoot problems Complete warranty, customer-pay, and internal repair work Install marine accessories, electronics, and equipment Inspect boats and identify additional repair or maintenance needs Document repairs, parts needs, diagnostic findings, and work performed accurately Communicate with Service Advisors regarding repair status and additional concerns Follow manufacturer procedures, Company processes, and safety requirements Maintain tools, equipment, and an organized work area Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the needs of the department and Company What We’re Looking For Previous marine, automotive, powersports, diesel, small-engine, or related mechanical experience preferred Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability Experience with outboard engines is a plus Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Ability to work independently and manage assigned repairs Manufacturer certifications or technical training are a plus Ability to meet the physical demands of the position Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record may be required What We Offer Competitive pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance Supplemental insurance options Paid time off Employee discounts Opportunities for technical training, certifications, development, and advancement A stable, growing company with more than 35 years in the RV and marine industry About Ron Hoover RV & Marine Centers Ron Hoover RV & Marine Centers is a family-owned and operated company that has been serving customers since 1987.
