Stockroom ClerkDuration: contract to hireLocation: Greensboro, NCPay Rate: $17/18 DOEJob Summary: Perform duties related to storing, inventory control and parts issuance. Provide information on revolving inventory levels as requested. Fill material requisitions promptly and accurately. Report discrepancies and material shortages.Essential Job Duties:Set up and maintain shelving as required to ensure accurate and functional parts accountability and issuance.Issue and deliver parts to production areas in a timely manner while observing lean concepts.Perform inventory counts as needed to assure accurate inventory levels.Review daily floor stock locations to determine replenishment requirements.Set up quarantine areas as needed to comply with FAA/DAS requirements.Ensures that the stockroom is kept clean, safe and orderly.Secondary Duties: Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.Job Qualifications:Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.Basic computer skills for use in typical office software applications.2 years' experience in Material Control, i.e.: Stores Clerk, Customer Material, Inventory Control, Shipping, Receiving, or related field.Must have ability to read and comprehend blueprints, IPC's, Engineering Orders and other technical data.Be able to learn the Company's operating system to perform daily transactions.Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to work with minimum supervision.Must be available for overtime and/or work flexible schedule as job requirements dictate.Must and be able to read, write, speak and understand the English languagePhysical Requirements:May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.Subject to continual loud noises.Normal or corrected hearing and vision are required.Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, stand for prolonged periods of time; climb steps, ladders and/or service stands.Must be able to safely work around hazardous chemicals, solvents, resins and adhesives.
