Position Boeing Defense, Space & Security's (BDS) is seeking Entry‑Level Manufacturing Engineers to join the Production Engineering Team in Mesa, AZ. Production Team Overview The Production Engineering team provides direct support of the Apache assembly and other military, space and commercial aircraft throughout the Mesa site, including AH‑64 Apache Final Assembly, Production Flight Test, Depot Repair and Overhaul, and our Metallic, Electrical, and Composite Centers of Excellence. Position Responsibilities Provides detailed work instructions to communicate the design engineering requirements to Operations partners for fabrication, assembly, and installation of complex components. Supports the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies. Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to support the integration of technical solutions across multiple disciplines. Supports the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build. Participates in the implementation of manufacturing plans and investigates technical problems. Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies. Interfaces with IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge, and experience. Export Control Requirements The position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person” (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) is required. Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. Preferred Qualifications Prior manufacturing or assembly experience. Ability to communicate and work with cross‑functional organizations (e.g., Operations, Quality). Willing to provide direct engineering support in a Production (factory) environment. Education Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor), or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non‑U.S. equivalent qualifications. ABET accreditation is the preferred standard. Relocation Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
