Product Compliance Specialist
Our client, a leader in the power sports industry, is seeking an experienced Product Compliance Specialist for a 12 month contract assignment in Roseau or Wyoming, MN. This role is hybrid.
JOB SUMMARY:
Actively maintain product certifications for snowmobiles. Track and implement new global product regulations. Support compliance systems, process development, and other product lines as part of the product compliance team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Obtain and maintain snowmobile emissions and other product certifications, including US EPA, SSCC, Transport Canada, EU type approval, and other international certifications.
- Support engineering research and development activities to ensure compliance by design for new products.
- Plan and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing to achieve timely product compliance validation, approval, and implementation.
- Conduct product development process (PDP) and part release system (PRS) compliance reviews.
- Interface with regulatory agencies and third-party certification authorities as needed.
- Represent the company as assigned on industry association technical committees to track new requirements.
- Maintain and support development of compliance processes and systems.
- Track pre-certification vehicles and engines, and monitor warranty claims per applicable regulations.
- File required periodic regulatory agency reports.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:
- B.S. degree in Engineering or related field
- Prior experience in product compliance and/or vehicle certification preferred
- Powersports enthusiast with vehicle systems knowledge
- High ethical standards and excellent research and communication skills

- Limited travel required (10%)
Pay Rate- $35.00- $55.00/hour
