Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current state certification Certifications: BLS, Child and Adult Mandatory Reporter Must-Have Skills/Experience: Basic computer knowledge Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written) Desire to be a team player Description: This position is for a registered nurse in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting. The facility is dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced a loss of function due to injury or illness. Rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care to patients in their recovery journey. Customized and intensive rehabilitation is tailored to meet the individual needs of patients. Patients may be recovering from conditions such as stroke, brain injury, neurological issues, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries. The aim is to maximize health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. Candidates with six months of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or long-term care are preferred, but this is not a requirement. The environment requires a cooperative individual who works well as part of a team.
