Job Description
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before procedures.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures.
- Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment.
- Take and process dental X-rays when permitted by local regulations.
- Prepare patients for treatment and help them feel comfortable.
- Record medical and dental histories and update patient charts.
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care after procedures.
- Mix and prepare dental materials such as impressions or temporary fillings.
- Maintain infection-control and safety standards.
- Schedule appointments and assist with basic administrative duties when needed.
- Maintain inventory and restock dental supplies.
- Follow patient confidentiality requirements and office policies.
