Position Description Implement, service, and retain assigned/existing groups while enhancing and maintaining strong working relationships with existing groups/clients. Act as a liaison between Delta Dental groups, agents, and consultants to ensure proper program administration and all service needs are met. Primary Job Responsibilities Ensure all service needs are met for the corporation’s clients, including resolution of issues such as billing, claims, eligibility, etc. Provide ongoing training and education to clients on the strengths and advantages of the organization to ensure renewal goals are met. Process and review small bids and quoted materials from groups/agents for accuracy. Work with the agent community on proposals and alternative offerings for their customers. Organize, coordinate, and prepare for activities related to implementations, finalizing renewals, negotiations, underwriting involvement, and participation in benefit fairs and open enrollment meetings. Maintain well-established internal and external working relationships with existing agents, brokers, group contacts, and key individuals within the group benefits department. Conduct individual “sales” calls, benefit conferences, conventions, entertainment, and special events. Assist in product development and strategy for small market growth. Participate in business and professional organizations to develop relationships and improve knowledge. Perform other related assigned duties as necessary to complete the Primary Job Responsibilities. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience. One year of experience in sales, service of group accounts, or insurance contract language. Ability to analyze and resolve problems; use independent judgment and communicate effectively with internal and external contacts. State health insurance license or must obtain one within three months of employment. Well‑maintained, UAW‑assembled or CAW‑assembled motor vehicle.
