Experienced Automotive Technician

Job Summary Fred Anderson Nissan of Raleigh is hiring Experienced Automotive Technicians to perform factory scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and vehicle servicing for a range of automotive brands. Responsibilities Perform factory scheduled maintenance and follow all manufacturer repair and diagnostic procedures. Test‑drive vehicles to identify concerns or issues. Communicate with service advisors about repairs and additional needs for the vehicle. Provide high‑quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of vehicles. Work collaboratively with the service department team. Participate in classes and training to advance knowledge of working on vehicles and stay updated on products and maintenance requirements. Maintain effective communication and organizational skills and focus on providing the best service experience for every customer. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record. At least 2‑3 years prior technician experience. Ability to conduct repair orders and mechanical work on vehicles. Knowledge to diagnose and repair vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards. One or more ASE certifications (required). Ability to answer questions regarding vehicles, dealership, and service; pursuit of Master Technician certification if not already a Master Technician.
