River Therapies
River Therapies is a private therapy company located in the Fox Chapel community of Pennsylvania. We specialize in outpatient, early intervention, and school-based therapy services. Our mission is to serve God, by helping children surpass what others said they would never achieve.
We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our team, providing services in a combination position including outpatient and early intervention in Allegheny County. The caseload would be split between the two settings.
As a member of the therapy department, you will work with families and other therapeutic staff and report to our administration staff.
What You Will Do:
Provide daily occupational therapy sessions to patients identified as requiring services
Complete daily documentation
Complete progress reports and letters of medical necessity
Maintain communication with the service team
Participate in and contribute to family and administrative meetings
Maintain required communication with families for the betterment of each patient
Regular meetings with administration staff to discuss caseloads, answer questions, and promote overall employment success
Maintain a weekly schedule for efficient scheduling and time management abilities
Promote a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment for patients and families
What You Will Bring:
Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills:
Degree in Occupational Therapy and an associated license in the state of Pennsylvania
Excellent communication skills
professional and positive work ethic
Passion for the field of pediatric occupational therapy
Experience in problem-based learning is encouraged
