Companion Caregiver / Home Care Assistant – Rochester Hills, MI

CareOne Senior Care is currently seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional caregiver to join our team in the Rochester Hills area. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, building meaningful relationships, and providing support that allows seniors to remain safe and independent in their own homes.

We are looking for a caregiver who is reliable, patient, and committed to providing quality care and companionship. If you have a caring personality and enjoy making a positive impact in someone's daily life, we would love to hear from you.

Schedule:

• Every Other Sunday

• 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Consistent ongoing schedule

• Additional shifts may be available based on your availability and performance

What You'll Be Doing:

As a caregiver, you will provide non-medical support to help a client remain comfortable and independent at home. Duties may include:

• Providing companionship and friendly conversation

• Assisting with daily routines and activities

• Preparing meals and snacks

• Light housekeeping and maintaining a tidy living space

• Laundry and linen changes

• Medication reminders

• Safety supervision and fall prevention

• Escorting the client to appointments and community outings

• Running errands as needed

• Driving the client's vehicle for appointments and errands

• Reporting any changes or concerns to the office team

What We're Looking For:

• Compassionate and caring attitude

• Dependable attendance and punctuality

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Valid driver's license

• Comfortable driving locally

• Reliable phone for communication and scheduling

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

• Ability to pass a background check

• Previous caregiving experience is helpful but not required
