Registered Nurse (RN)The Registered Nurse (RN) will partner with residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing both direct and indirect care.Units Include3 East: A 31-bed specialized unit focusing on residents with Alzheimer's and dementia, employing verbal and non-verbal communication techniques to understand and address the unique needs and behaviors of these residents in a home-like environment.Transitional Rehabilitation Unit: This 42-bed unit offers short-term skilled nursing and rehabilitation services for patients recovering from surgeries, strokes, and other short-term illnesses or injuries. Nursing services may include IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment and management.3 West: A 42-bed long-term care unit providing essential care in a supportive and home-like setting for residents requiring ongoing assistance.Job RequirementsAssociate's Degree in NursingValid State of Maine or Compact RN License1-3 years of previous RN experienceOther Skills RequiredMedical terminology knowledge preferredStrong teamwork and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a team of care providersFlexibility to cover shifts as needed, including floating to other unitsEqual Employment OpportunityWe are an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer.
