Associate Veterinarian

We are working on behalf of a well established, community rooted small animal hospital in Fredericksburg, VA that is looking to welcome a Full Time or Part Time Associate Veterinarian to its team.

Founded nearly twenty years ago, the practice has built an excellent reputation across the Fredericksburg, Stafford, and King George communities for compassionate, high quality care, treating both small animals and exotic pets with a personalized approach.

The team is looking for a collaborative, compassionate veterinarian with strong communication skills, someone who enjoys supporting and mentoring support staff and is confident in their clinical decision making. Strong skills in preventive care, internal medicine, surgery, and dentistry are preferred, and experience with exotics is a welcome bonus.

Applicants at all experience levels are encouraged to apply, including new graduates, and there is a structured mentorship program in place for anyone looking to build confidence early in their career. The hospital places real emphasis on proactive medicine, focusing on prevention and early detection, and on building honest, long term partnerships with pet owners.

Just an hour south of Washington, DC, the area offers a genuine blend of small town character, history, and scenic parks, with easy access to everything the capital has to offer.

The culture is a big part of the draw here, with a close knit team that genuinely enjoys each other's company, and there is no non-compete and no negative accrual.
