Pharmacist in Hudsonville, MI

An immediate opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to serve as Director of Pharmacy (DOP) and Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at a behavioral health facility located near Hudsonville, MI. This contract role supports a site specializing in behavioral health with an average daily census of approximately 40 patients.
Location: Byron Center, MI (near Hudsonville)
Contract Details:
- Start ASAP through approximately 8+ weeks until the permanent DOP is hired
- Coverage Hours:
- Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM onsite
- Saturday: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM remote coverage
- Active Michigan pharmacist license in good standing required
- Experience with behavioral health pharmacy preferred
- Familiarity with HCS order entry system a plus
- Experience with Omnicell automation preferred
- Order verification to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Inventory maintenance without technician support
- Serve as both Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacist in Charge
- Collaborate with facility staff to optimize pharmacy operations
- Work dress code: purple scrubs
- Nearest airport: Gerald Ford International Airport (GRR)
- Preferred local accommodations: Home2 Suites by Hilton
