We seek a Float Pharmacist for the state of Maine to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions.

This onsite, part-time position will be scheduled 32 hours per week during the pharmacy hours of Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Candidates must have some availability during that time.

Locations include: Portland, Biddeford, Augusta, Bangor, Wiscasset, Brunswick, Lewiston, Skowhegan

Primary Responsibilities:

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners

• Provides information to customers about medications and their use

• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service

• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy

• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy

• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD

• Current pharmacist license in state of Maine

• Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire

• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current pharmacist license in state of New Hampshire or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire

• Authorization to administer long-acting injectables or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.09 to $78.70 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
