Growing together.We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Product Owner to own the definition and development of future imaging workflows and tools for our cloud-based Enterprise Viewer. This viewer is a critical application used by clinicians across inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as by patients, to view medical images from a wide range of specialties.In this role, you will collaborate closely with physicians and clinical stakeholders to understand evolving needs and translate them into requirements, aligning with overall product roadmap and strategy. You'll play a key role in the development of enterprise viewer and delivering solutions that improve clinical care, patient outcomes, and drive clinical efficiency.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.Primary Responsibilities:Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for clinical and technical product capabilities as a product ownerExecute on product requirements, use cases and definition, working closely with engineering team, executing on quarterly planning activities, day-to-day activities of scrum teams as Product Owner for Stratus Imaging Viewer on clinical and non-functional capabilitiesManaging customer feedback, engaging with customer users, and evangelizing product for customer adoptionClosely working with engineering team, service team, and 3rd parties as applicable to the product to enable successful launch and implementationsSupport requirements and definition for integration with PACS, EMR and VNA systems as applicableExecute on a product roadmap and strategy, working closely with product leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders as necessary to define product requirements and system dependenciesCreate content for releases, service and sales education, and cross-functional awareness on viewer release offering and customer valueSupport GTM activities, PDLC and SDLC release activities as the product ownerYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:4+ years of experience in healthcare information technology or clinical technology4+ years of experience in full-cycle Product Management, including requirements, use case definitions, and working with software development team on a day-to-day basis providing product owner supportExperience participating in clinical workflow discovery and support, including conducting interviews, observations, and feedback sessions with clinicians, and supporting physician or care team workflows across both inpatient and outpatient settingsExperience translating clinical needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteriaExperience working with EHR/EMR technologyExperience with cloud-based applications and related cloud backend services in healthcare domainUnderstanding of imaging and healthcare data standards such as DICOM, DICOM-web, HL7/FHIR, and IHE profilesFamiliar with UX Design, prototyping and iterative development processProven ability to work effectively with engineering, design, clinical stakeholders, and delivery teams in a matrixed environmentDemonstrated ability to identify automation opportunities and leverage AI to improve productivity and qualityMust be willing/able to travel appropriately 25% of the time as business needs dictatePreferred Qualifications:Certified Scrum Product Owner3+ years of experience with clinical workflows for specialty care areas such as Radiology, cardiology, digital pathology, and other clinical care areas in the hospital or clinical settingUnderstanding of imaging and healthcare data standards such as DICOM, DICOMweb, HL7/FHIR and IHE profilesFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), cloud applications and Software-as-a-ServiceProven exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex clinical and technical concepts for diverse audiencesProven solid stakeholder management and relationship-building skillsDemonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions using product performance metrics*All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter PolicyPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
