Production Assembler - 1st Shift

About the Opportunity Job Title: Production Assembler Pay Rate Range: $21.00-$25.00/hr Location: Saint Paul, MN Schedule: 1st Shift Monday–Friday 6:30AM-3PM Position Type: Temp to Hire Requirements and Qualifications High School or equivalent. Ability to read a print and follow work instructions. Ability to work as part of a team, ask questions when unsure, follow instructions of manager/supervisor/engineers. Production work experience. Small parts assembly (Hand tools, benchtop work, etc.). Electronics experience. Soldering experience (hand soldering, through hole and surface mount components). Wire harness experience (Cutting, stripping, ultrasonic welding, applying pins and connectors, looming. Troubleshooting.). Computer skills desired. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Duties and Responsibilities The Production Assembler will be responsible for assembling parts in a benchtop production environment. Linear actuators. Small electric motors/clutches. Metal and plastic parts. Some wire harness work. Benchtop equipment operation as part of the assembly process. Use of hand tools is the majority of the job; drills, drivers, wrenches, ratchets, pliers, scissors/cutters, etc. Benefits May be eligible for 5 paid holidays.
