This contract opportunity near Bear, DE, is ideal for those eager to collaborate with school communities and help students unlock their fullest potential. Key Qualifications:

  • Active OT or COTA licensure and credentials
  • Experience in school-based, home health, or healthcare occupational therapy settings
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
  • Understanding of IEP processes and familiarity with educational documentation requirements
  • Strong communication skills; comfortable collaborating with educators and families
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered care

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted occupational therapy compensatory services to students—aligning with IEP goals
  • Assess students’ functional needs and tailor intervention strategies to promote their success at school
  • Document progress and maintain comprehensive records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, school staff, and families to support integrated learning environments
  • Make recommendations for adaptive equipment or classroom modifications as needed
  • Complete 40 hours of compensatory services across weekly onsite sessions
