College: College of Business Administration Department: Accounting Accounting Pool Position: Lecturer Academic Year: 2026/2027 The Department of Accounting at California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an ongoing basis for our pool of part-time lecturers. Applicant pools are used to fill short-term temporary Lecturer positions across our campus with the possibility of rehiring. Appointments may last from one day to a whole semester. This applicant pool may be used to fill vacant positions on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year. Applications are only good for the current academic year. This pool is closed effective May31st. Minimum Qualifications A master's degree in business or a related discipline Industry experience in a finance-related position Working in the State of California is a condition of employment, per the California State University’s Out-of-State Employment Policy. Preferred Qualifications A doctorate degree or equivalent Previous teaching experience Intercultural competence and a commitment to serving the campus community in teaching and, as applicable, service. Salaries Salary commensurate with degree level and experience.
