Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Surgery - Days

Hourly Pay Range $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights Position: Registered Nurse Location: Skokie Hospital (ability to travel to Evanston, Glenbrook and Highland Park Hospitals) Full time Hours: Availability to start between 5am and 11:30am (8 hr shift based off start time) Mon - Fri What You Will Do Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit. Utilizes the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. Includes patient and family in the plan of care as appropriate. Maintains regulatory compliance in individual practice. Assumes the responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care and to make decisions based on their therapeutic relationship with the patient. Guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care. Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care. What You Will Need Education: Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required. BSN preferred. License/Certification: IL RN License CPR BLS issued by the American Heart Association ACLS issued by the American Heart Association PALS issued by the American Heart Association Experience: 6 mths RN experience in comparable role - Preferred Basic Computer Skills Benefits Eligibility for our Annual Incentive Plan, which offers the potential to earn a certain percentage amount of your base salary based on organizational performance.
