Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health, developing individualized treatment plans based on their unique needs and challenges.
• Provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based practices to facilitate healing and growth.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
• Maintain meticulous records of client progress, adhering to legal requirements regarding confidentiality and documentation.
• Utilize teletherapy tools effectively to schedule sessions and follow up with clients, ensuring accessibility to mental health resources.
• Refer clients to additional community resources or support services as necessary, ensuring they receive comprehensive care tailored to their situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological issues. Our clinic is committed to serving underprivileged communities, and you will play a vital role in delivering culturally competent care that respects and acknowledges each client’s background and experiences.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid California license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) to practice as a mental health professional.
• Minimum of two years of experience providing therapy in an outpatient clinical setting.
• Proficient in trauma-informed care practices and a range of therapeutic modalities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with marginalized populations or within community health settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and training in specialized therapeutic techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 , dependent on experience and qualifications.
