We are seeking a diligent and experienced Assistant Estimator to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Estimator supports the estimating team by performing quantity takeoffs, data entry, documentation, and vendor outreach under supervision. This role focuses on learning estimating systems, construction fundamentals, and accuracy standards.

The Assistant Estimator contributes to bid preparation while developing the skills required for independent estimating work.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quantity takeoffs
• Assist with subcontractor outreach
• Prepare scope sheets and organize bid documents.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform quantity takeoffs under supervision.
2. Maintain estimate databases, vendor/supplier contacts, and bid tracking logs.
3. Assist with subcontractor outreach and bid leveling.
4. Prepare scope sheets and organize bid documents.
5. Support in pre-bid meetings and site visits.

The work environment is typically a quiet, climate-controlled office setting. Team members must be able to manage multiple priorities in a standard office environment and maintain focus in the presence of frequent interruptions.
