Florida Mechanical System is looking for a skilled Crane Operator to join our growing team in Jacksonville, FL! Responsibilities:

Operate cranes and heavy lifting equipment safely and efficiently on job sites

Inspect crane equipment before and after each shift to ensure proper working condition

Interpret load charts, rigging plans, and site blueprints to execute lifts accurately

Coordinate with riggers, signal persons, and site supervisors during lifting operations

Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times

Perform routine maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly

Maintain accurate daily logs of crane operations and equipment inspections

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Crane Operator in a construction or mechanical setting

Valid NCCCO certification or equivalent crane operator certification required

Strong knowledge of rigging, load capacities, and safe lifting practices

Ability to read and interpret load charts, site plans, and blueprints

Familiarity with OSHA regulations and jobsite safety standards

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
