Responsibilities Oversee all stages of bridge construction projects, from initial planning and feasibility studies to design, construction, and final handover. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to design safe, efficient, and sustainable bridges. Manage the project budget, ensuring work is carried out within agreed financial parameters. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies. Lead and motivate a team of construction workers and professionals, fostering a positive work environment. Resolve any issues or problems that arise, implementing effective solutions to keep the project on track. Regularly report on project progress to senior management, stakeholders, and clients, keeping them informed and involved. Continuously seek ways to improve the project management process, driving efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. At least seven years of project management experience within the construction industry, focusing on bridge design and construction. Proven experience leading and managing large‑scale construction projects from inception to completion. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Excellent leadership and team management skills, able to motivate and inspire others. Strong problem‑solving skills, able to think strategically and make sound decisions under pressure. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to effectively liaise with a range of stakeholders. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Professional Engineering license.
