Join an established professional services firm in Lincoln to identify an Internal Accounting Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys leading people, improving processes, and helping an organization build more efficient internal operations. This position will oversee key internal accounting functions while partnering closely with firm administration and leadership. What You’ll Do

• Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of internal accounting operations
• Supervise, support, and develop accounting and administrative team members
• Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements across accounting workflows
• Partner closely with firm administration and leadership on operational priorities
• Oversee bookkeeping, billing, reconciliations, and internal financial processes
• Review firm expenses for accuracy and appropriate documentation
• Support vendor relationships, contract renewals, and recurring financial responsibilities
• Provide oversight and support related to payroll processes
• Assist with HR-related activities that intersect with payroll, benefits, and employee administration
• Help maintain and improve accounting, billing, bookkeeping, and office management systems
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and other internal accounting needs
• Develop consistent procedures and documentation to create more efficient and scalable operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required
• 2–3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
• Broad understanding of accounting operations and general accounting principles
• Demonstrated experience improving accounting processes, workflows, or procedures
• Experience with accounting, billing, bookkeeping, and/or office management software
• Working knowledge of payroll processes
• Some HR or employee administration exposure preferred
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to balance hands-on accounting responsibilities with team leadership and process improvement
• Prior CPA firm or professional services experience is a plus
• CPA is not required
