Wheelhouse is the newest concept from the Georgetown Events Hospitality Group, opened 4 weeks ago in Chevy Chase. Designed as a full-service restaurant and bar, Wheelhouse brings together great food, a vibrant atmosphere, and genuine hospitality to create a neighborhood go-to.

Wheelhouse will feature a sophisticated cocktail program with a strong focus on martinis, alongside a thoughtfully curated wine and beverage list.

We are looking for high-volume, energetic, and fun bartenders who bring great energy, strong hospitality, and a true passion for cocktails and wine. Our bartenders are team-oriented professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in creating memorable guest experiences. 3 + years experience is a must!

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests and create an engaging, upbeat bar experience
• Read guests and make thoughtful beverage recommendations
• Take and prepare drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain strong knowledge of the cocktail list, beer, wine, and spirits
• Execute cocktails with consistency, attention to detail, and proper technique
• Assist in planning drink menus and sharing knowledge of new features and specials
• Check IDs to ensure compliance with alcohol service laws
• Handle cash and process payments accurately; maintain an organized register
• Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs to management
• Maintain a clean, organized bar area, including glassware and tools
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure smooth, efficient operations
• Contribute ideas for cocktail development and seasonal features

Compensation: Hourly ($10.00) plus tips
