Key Responsibilities

• Work Order Management: Create, track, and assign repair requests to in-house technicians or outside contractors.

• Scheduling: Plan routine and preventive upkeep to reduce equipment downtime and operational disruptions.

• Vendor Coordination: Hire third-party service providers (such as plumbers, electricians, or HVAC techs) and ensure work meets quality standards.

• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, order spare parts, and track tools or supplies.

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance operations follow safety codes and workplace regulations like OSHA.

• Record Keeping: Log completed tasks, update equipment histories, and manage maintenance software or CMMS records.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Organization: Strong scheduling and multi-tasking abilities to handle competing priorities.

• Communication: Clear interpersonal skills to update team members, departments, and external vendors.

• Technical Knowledge: A practical understanding of basic mechanical, electrical, or building systems.

• Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly troubleshoot and find solutions when equipment fails.

• Experience: Background in facilities management, manufacturing, or a related technical trade.
