Metal FinisherWindsor, MO 65360Employment Type: Contract Job Category: Industrial Job Number: LB602964910 Pay Rate: $16-18 / hourJob DescriptionOverview Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions Basic Math Skills Employee must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis throughout the day Grinds, files or sands surface of metal items using hand and power tools Finishes surface of item to specified finish using hand and power tools Have knowledge of metal finishing techniques, examines and feels surface of metal to detect defects such as dents, scratches or breaks in metal Ability to identify and select different grits of belting and sandpaper for the job Ability to identify and select grades of polishing compound and the procedures required to achieve specific finishes Ability to straighten and polish stainless steel and aluminum Ability to perform the required Daily Maintenance for this equipment This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
