Job Title: Machine Technician
Pay Rate: Up to $19.00/hour
Shifts Available: 1st & 2nd Shift
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Overtime as needed


Position Overview:


Sunrider is seeking dependable Machine Technicians to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.


Key Responsibilities:

• Observe mechanical devices in operation to identify causes of equipment issues
• Listen for unusual sounds to detect mechanical malfunctions
• Dismantle equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts
• Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections
• Inspect used parts to determine dimensional changes or wear
• Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments
• Repair or replace defective components
• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and utilities
• Install functional and structural parts in machinery
• Start and test devices to ensure proper performance
• Set up and operate equipment as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience in machine maintenance or a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for an 8-hour shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Strong attention to safety and detail
