RN Infusion Oncology

The Registered Nurse in Infusion at the hematology/oncology clinic is responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients undergoing treatment. This role involves patient assessment, monitoring, and management of infusion therapies in a clinical setting. The nurse must demonstrate strong critical thinking and communication skills, ensuring patient safety and effective collaboration with the healthcare team. Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments and monitor condition during infusion treatments.
• Administer hematology/oncology infusion therapies according to protocols.
• Respond calmly and effectively to emergency situations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Travel to other clinic locations as needed to provide nursing services.

• Unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of employment or multi-state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in clinic or hospital settings.
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills.
• Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Additional oncology nursing certifications or training.
• Experience in infusion therapy or oncology nursing.

• Ability to manage emergency situations calmly and effectively.
• Travel to multiple clinic locations may be required.
• Work environment focused on hematology/oncology patient care.

• Work schedule and shifts to be determined based on clinic needs.
• May include day shifts with potential variability depending on patient volume.
