Registered Nurse RN Float Pool NC

HCA Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Float Pool in North Carolina. As a Float Pool RN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple inpatient units, supporting teams where patient needs are greatest. Within our Healthcare & Medical Services department, you will care for diverse patient populations, including medical-surgical, telemetry, step-down, and specialty units depending on your competencies and experience. In this dynamic role, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care, collaborating closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, case managers, and support staff to ensure safe, coordinated, and efficient care. You will administer medications and treatments, interpret patient data, respond promptly to changes in condition, and serve as an advocate for patients and families. As a Float Pool nurse, you will adapt quickly to different unit workflows, electronic medical records, and team structures while upholding HCA Healthcare’s clinical standards, policies, and evidence-based practices. You will contribute to a culture of safety by participating in handoffs, following infection prevention protocols, and engaging in quality and performance improvement initiatives. You will support patient and family education, promote comfort and dignity, and help coordinate discharge planning in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
