In home homeschool helper + daily life with kids support (free housing)

We are a Waldorf family living in Petterborough, NH, USA.

We are a family seeking a live in Waldorf helper for our household in exchange for your own room, bathroom (occasionally shared but the entire wing can be separate) and meals. We are a family of 4 with two small dogs (hypoallergenic, non-shedding) and a sweet cat. We would love someone who could help us homeschool our 10 and 7 year old, and with daily life. I can provide curriculum and a plan, and even many hours of teaching- I just need help! This could include some teaching time, cooking, some cleaning, organizing, guidance for the children, help with pets if we need to be gone, and occasional watching the children or being present. We do not expect you to do it all! We just need help.

Qualifications- Some one who is:

*Good at organizing and planning

*Able to live with others and be in the flow of a family life and communicate your needs as well as hearing the needs of the children and the family well

*Has experience with children

*Waldorf trained or in training (ideally)

*We would love to have someone who can especially help with handwork, and some music, and maybe a language, but this is not required

*Not attached to your phone or devices and able to immitate that when with the children

*Most of all nurturing and loving to them!

We know Waldorf very well; we are familiar and (mother) is trained in it. We are just needing to switch to homeschooling, and it's out of our capacity to do it alone.

An added benefit of living here- You could also work at one of several Waldorf programs and schools here part time if you can balance it all (including High Mowing and Gathering Waters, some smaller programs, and several other private schools.)

We live in a beautiful intentional community, in a LEED certified home. The community has a common house with many ammenities, common grounds including a 100+ acres of forest, a pond, a river that you can swim in about 300 steps away, downtown less than 1 mile and a natural grocery store that you can walk or bike to, a community park, library and so much more within walking distance. We have a farm here and farm animals that you can also participate in caring for and getting produce and meat if you choose. We currently have only one car, but we're happy to share it when we can, but it might be nice to have a bike or your own vehicle as well- you would need your own vehicle if you were going to work around here as well. Peterborough is a vibrant arts community, and there is always a lot going on. It is very quiet and peaceful here, as it is pretty rural even though we are just a little ways out of town, and cars do not drive inside of the houses in our community (parking is along the perimeter unless escourted.)
