IT Help Desk Technician

IT Help Desk TechnicianWe're looking for an IT Help Desk Technician to join our fast-paced IT department as the frontline of technical support for our internal teams. You'll be the first call when something breaks and the person who tracks it through to resolution - troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up new workstations, and working with vendors to keep our people productive across our locations. This is a good fit for someone who's organized, communicates clearly, stays calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoys customer service - just with internal "customers" instead of external ones.Schedule: This position will work Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.What You'll Do:Answer and resolve 1st- and 2nd-tier support ticketsWork with outside vendors on support tickets and project-related tasksSet up workstations with computers, peripherals, and required softwareTest computer hardware (hard drives, mice, keyboards, etc.) to confirm proper functionalityInstall and configure software and security applications to specMonitor IT support services and keep service request records up to dateProvide onsite support as needed to minimize downtime and resolve issues promptlyTake scheduled technical support callsCoordinate with IT team members, internal users, and vendors to resolve issues quicklySupport teammates as needed to help the department and company hit their goalsStay current on company, DTNA, and product bulletins — recalls, failures, new product lines, and industry trends — so you can apply that knowledge on the jobQualificationsWhat We're Looking For:2+ years of professional experience or combination of professional and academic experienceValid Driver's License and ability to meet insurance requirements is requiredExperience with ConnectWise software is a plusDemonstrated knowledge of technological equipment, operating systems, applications, troubleshooting, general network administration, and handling networking issues in a Windows-based environmentStrong organization skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple projectsStrong personal conviction to safety, producing quality work, customer service, and commitment to company valuesSome travel may be required to perform on-site technical assistance for other TCI locationsMust be willing to participate in a pre-employment background check and drug screenWhat We Offer:Pay Range: $20.42 - 30.64 per hour401(k) with company matchHealth insurance with 3 plan options to choose from, Vision Insurance, and Dental InsurancePaid time off including paid volunteer timeDisability insuranceFSA and HSA optionsCompany paid Life and AD&D insuranceMaternity leaveEmployee assistance programWellness programCompany paid uniformsAdditional InformationTruck Centers, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer (EOE).
