CLASS A / CLASS B CDL CONCRETE MIXER DRIVER
This job posting is for our Buckeye Lake Plant – 3145 Walnut Rd, Hebron, OH 43025
Full time - Home Every Night! - Daytime between 6:30 am - 4 pm or 5 pm – quitting time is dependent on the daily order volume.
Job description:
- We are now hiring Class A / Class B CDL Concrete Mixer Drivers. As a Concrete Mixer Truck Driver you will operate ready mix concrete trucks between plant locations and customer sites.
Experience requirements:
- 1 year concrete mixer truck driving experience preferred, but not a requirement. We are willing to train applicants who can drive a manual transmission.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a Class A or Class B CDL with NO automatic restriction .
- Must possess a safe driving record.
- Must maintain an active DOT qualification.
- Must perform well in a team environment.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Must be able to drive a manual transmission
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily preventative maintenance (i.e. fueling, tire/light inspection, checking fluids, etc.).
- Use water hoses to clean mixer between loads.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Visually inspect the consistency of concrete in mixer.
- Communicate and direct co-workers verbally and/or with hand signals.
- Ensure all delivery tickets are signed, properly documented, and returned to the plant.
- Exercise good judgement regarding work site access, unloading and operations to and from job.
- Maintain good customer relations by acting in professional, courteous manner.
