About the Position

Description: This position is for a travel RN in the ICU. The unit has 30 beds and is staffed with 57 personnel. There is 1 charge nurse per shift and an RN for every 2-3 patients. During night shifts, the patient ratio may increase due to overflow. The type of equipment includes Lenet beds and GE monitors. The unit uses Meditech as the electronic medical record system. The ideal candidate should demonstrate flexibility and be willing to change assignments mid-shift to accommodate patient acuity. Typical procedures performed include rapid intubation, chest tubes, and external ventricular drainage. Patient care includes treatment for LVAD and CCRT patients. Candidates with neuro certification and experience in neuro and trauma will be prioritized.
