Construction Engineers are responsible for in-depth construction problem-solving, acting as the main point of contact for the site construction team and ensuring collaboration with engineering, procurement, quality, materials management, and system completion teams. The role may include site services, material management, or managing a multidiscipline scope of work as defined by Site Leadership. This position is located in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Job Role DescriptionConstruction Engineers are responsible for in-depth construction problem-solving, acting as the main point of contact for the site construction team and ensuring collaboration with engineering, procurement, quality, materials management, and system completion teams. The role may include site services, material management, or managing a multidiscipline scope of work as defined by Site Leadership.What you will doDeveloping into a 'Champion' of safety performance through active engagement with the safety program and the craftSupport the integration of Contractor/subcontractor's workface planning with engineering, quality, procurement, and systems completion activities.Provide surveillance for conformance with the contract in execution of the work scopeAssist with driving site construction / fabrication safety, quality, cost, and schedule performance in assigned areas/scope.Perform / support / lead (as requested) discrete tasks to improve construction management systems and safety, planning, and execution tools.
