F&B SUPERVISOR RED LOTUS

Summary The Food & Beverage Supervisor - Red Lotus supports daily restaurant operations, ensuring high-quality service, authentic Asian dining experiences, and efficient team performance. This role assists in supervising staff, maintaining service standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction while supporting the Restaurant Leadership in achieving operational and financial goals. Responsibilities Provide guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department, supporting operational goals and monitoring achievement of performance and profit objectives. Adhere to scheduling and coordinate with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction. Support compliance with departmental budgets. Enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs, ensuring all team members follow customer service standards and addressing issues as they arise. Assist in maintaining cost control methods and procedures by monitoring pars and inventory. Assist in the maintenance and development of procedures for food service and inspect menu items for maximum customer satisfaction. Follow established quality assurance procedures to ensure acceptable health department and customer service standards. Respond to guest needs and report problems to Manager. Assist Manager with administrative duties, as assigned. Assist in conducting pre-shift meetings to relay pertinent information on assigned shift. Assist in cleaning and resetting the F&B Outlet as necessary during assigned shift. Monitor appearance of food/ beverage served and communicate deviations in accordance with established standards. Assist in cross training of team members while encouraging, reinforcing, and supporting peers and team. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility and report potential issues to management. Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must: Have a High School Diploma or GED; or two years of previous customer service experience; or a combination of education and experience. Five years of experience in Food & Beverage is preferred but not required. Have previous experience in Food & Beverage (desired but not required). Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rates, ratios, and percentages; and interpret bar graphs. Be able to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts diplomatically and tactfully. Be proficient in Microsoft Outlook. Have knowledge of kitchen/restaurant sanitation and operation and maintenance of equipment. Be flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate. Be at least 21 years of age. Supervisory Responsibilities Manage work procedures and expedite workflow. Provide coaching and counseling to team members.
