As an Account Manager for Colton Kantola State Farm, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prospect, identify, and qualify new customers for property, casualty, life, and health insurance
• Conduct needs assessments to recommend appropriate coverage options and coverage limits
• Present policy options, explain benefits and terms, and guide customers through purchasing decisions
• Quote, negotiate, and close sales opportunities in accordance with company guidelines
• Service existing accounts by responding to client inquiries, changes in coverage, and billing questions
• Review account performance and retention metrics; implement strategies to improve renewals and reduce lapse risk
• Develop and maintain accurate client records in the CRM system, including notes, quotes, and policy activity
• Follow up on leads and ensure timely communication throughout the sales cycle
• Collaborate with underwriting and claims teams to support customer needs and resolve issues
• Maintain current knowledge of insurance products, carrier guidelines, and regulatory requirements
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals for each line of business (P&C, Life, and Health)
• Attend meetings, trainings, and community/industry events to support business development
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, privacy, and sales/marketing regulations
• Provide exceptional customer service to strengthen loyalty and referrals

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in insurance sales or account management preferred.
• Leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
• Willingness to engage in sales conversations.
