About the Position

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Women & Infant Float Pool – Ohio

Start Date: November 30, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., 36 hours per week with weekend coverage and call required

Highlights:

• Float between Labor & Delivery, Maternal Special Care, and Postpartum units at a Level 4 Maternity Center
• Work with a comprehensive women's health program serving diverse patient populations
• EPIC charting system preferred; experience with electronic fetal monitoring required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; Labor & Delivery experience essential
• Support for high-risk antepartum, multiple births, and cesarean sections
• Travel assignment with local candidates accepted at the same rate

Requirements:

• Active RN license (valid compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
• Preferred Certifications: AWHONN Advanced, C-EFM
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with Labor & Delivery background required
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required (at least one from formal leadership/management)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing

• Strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start date with no exceptions

• Candidates outside Ohio but within driving distance must travel to Ohio for fingerprinting
• Time off requests must be submitted with application and built into contract
• Former employees eligible after 6 months away from the facility
