Accounts Payable Specialist

Kanawha Stone Company, Inc. is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our administrative team. This position is responsible for day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable processing, corporate credit card reconciliations, vendor communication, and other transactional accounting responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be organized, accurate, able to work independently, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Analyze and process accounts payable in a timely manner Code invoices, vouchers, expense reports, check requests, and related documents accurately according to company procedures Reconcile corporate credit card transactions and vendor statements Handle vendor correspondence via phone and email Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues Maintain organized financial records and ensure accurate accounting system entry Assist with other accounting and administrative functions as needed Qualifications Previous accounts payable or accounting experience preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Experience with accounting software systems is a plus Why Join Kanawha Stone Company At Kanawha Stone Company, you’re more than just an employee, you’re part of a team that values respect, support, and long-term success.
