Quality Inspector
Job SummarySeeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to inspect incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet company and customer quality standards. The role involves performing inspections, documenting results, identifying defects, and supporting continuous quality improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesInspect incoming, in-process, and finished products.
Perform visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, rulers, and CMM.
Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation.
Identify and report non-conforming products.
Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Verify compliance with customer, regulatory, and company quality standards.
Follow safety procedures and company policies.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
High school diploma or GED required.
Technical certification is a plus.
1-3 years of quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
Experience using precision measuring instruments.
CMM experience is required; CMM programming is a plus.
Basic Microsoft Office and computer skills.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC).
