A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Plan each shift. Monitor performance during the shift. Take action to meet McDonald’s standards. Monitor safety, security, and profitability. Communicate with the next Shift Manager to help prepare them for their shift. Help assigned departments meet their goals. Responsibilities Food Safety Internal Communication Inventory Management Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness Managing Crew Quality Food Production Exceptional Customer Service Safety and Security Scheduling Training Qualifications Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate‑owned and operated restaurants.
