Travel RN - Progressive Care Unit

Location: Thornton, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7A - 7P

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This state-of-the-art unit features a supportive work environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. The RN will provide critical care for patients recovering from various surgical and medical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide post-operative care for patients recovering from surgical procedures and cardiac interventions.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1-year current hospital PCU experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Cardiac experience and prior Meditech experience preferred.
