Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Sonography/Ultrasound

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with ARDMS certification and at least 1 year of experience for a general ultrasound role in a community hospital setting. Requirements ARDMS certification required Minimum 1 year of experience required Prior travel experience required Epic charting system experience preferred Community hospital experience preferred Skills in abdomen, abdominal aorta, appendix, biliary tract, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, breast, vascular studies (aorta, carotid, duplex, upper/lower extremity arterial and venous), renal/pelvis, transvaginal, uterus, small parts, thyroid, and fetal anatomical survey License required if applicable Responsibilities General ultrasound unit in a community hospital setting Adult patient population with 1:1 patient ratio Work settings include Emergency Department, portables, vascular, small parts, OB/GYN, and renal/pelvis studies Procedures may include paracentesis, thoracentesis, and ultrasound guided biopsy/fine needle aspiration Uses GE ultrasound equipment Day shift schedules available: 5x8 hours 6:00 AM-2:30 PM or 9:30 AM-6:00 PM Call requirement only if permanent staff do not pick up shifts, potentially one weekend (24 hrs)/month and a few 6p-6a shifts per schedule Perform general and specialized ultrasound exams across abdominal, vascular, small parts, renal/pelvis, and OB/GYN studies Support pediatric and adult patient populations Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract Holidays observed include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day Returning staff/travelers must have a separation period before reapplying Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-759688 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
