Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. You will prepare and administer radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The role requires adherence to radiation safety protocols, accurate documentation in the electronic health record, and effective communication with patients and clinical staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• An associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology.
• State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine in the state of employment.
• ARRT Nuclear Medicine certification.
• BLS certification.
• Experience performing general nuclear medicine procedures and operating gamma camera systems, including GE Discovery equipment.
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar electronic documentation systems.
• Ability to respond to departmental call requirements as specified by the facility.
• Preferred: 2 years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0700-1730.
• Call Requirements: 7p-7a, four days per week.
• Equipment: GE Discovery imaging systems.
• Documentation System: Meditech.
• May be required to float to other facilities within the client network.
